Project Description
Another project where we had the opportunity to integrate architectural, landscape, interior and furniture design for a cohesive solution. In view of the relatively small size of the project, we introduced design gestures that enlarge the spatial experience by blurring the boundaries between the interior and the exterior. Level changes were ditched, interior walls minimised, natural light infused throughout the interiors, engawas created and architectural features weaved from outside in, and vice versa.
