Project Description
Heritage View Penthouse, SingaporeWhen the owners first saw the apartment, the kitchen layout was convoluted and inefficient, and could not meet their requirement for 2 separate kitchens. The Master Bathroom was dark and disproportionately small, and the living spaces were missing a Powder Room.
We dealt with these key areas of deficiencies by strategically re-organising and re-laying out affected areas, brought clarity to the planning, liberated space where it was short, and let in natural light to previously dim areas of the huge apartment. Amongst all the carpentry work that we designed for the owners, 2 full-height back-lit display units gave abode to the many pieces of ornaments and paraphernalia the owners collected over the years in their extensive travel all over the world. We embraced the owners’ liking for rich colours and strong textures in the finishing and material selections, fusing these effects with our design fundamentals of logical planning, clean linework and simple detailing.
