Project Description

East Coast Penthouse, Singapore

We had to solve the perennial problem of a kitchen that was disproportionately small for a penthouse.  By opening up the doorway and working a new Entertainment Kitchen in the Dining Room, the new Wet Kitchen became brighter and better organsied, and was relieved of some of its burdens that were decanted to the new Entertainment Kitchen.

The upper floor on the roof terrace was enhanced with a living area and utility spaces, including a sizeable covered verandah space that the family could enjoy all day.

All the carpentry works were designed as simple forms that were also employed to resolve any awkwardness in the layout of the penthouse.
