DresserAmongst other custom-designed furniture like the bed, headboard, study desk, TV wall and wardrobes in her bedroom, our client also required a generous dresser, miscellaneous clothing storage and a snuff bottle display. We considered the brief and space planning of the room carefully and devised this huge piece of furniture that fulfilled the requirements in a highly integrated, functional and aesthetic fashion. A backdrop of large mirrors is `floated’ off a wall treated with luxurious red patterned wall-covering. A long counter is set into the mirror backdrop, below which were generous drawer storage spaces. The snuff bottle display was treated as a glass-covered recess in the mirror, and finished luxuriously with champagne patterned wall covering.
